Shunmitha Babu

I am an undergraduate majoring in Biotechnology with a specialization in Bioinformatics. My current work involves scanning and organizing lima bean samples to document adaptive traits and evaluate the nutritional quality of annual harvests. I enjoy exploring the computational side of agricultural research and have previously developed an R script to analyze biomass and yield production in sorghum. I am particularly interested in collecting and analyzing data related to genetics, trait variation, and biological systems, and I enjoy applying bioinformatics tools and data-driven approaches to better understand complex biological processes.
