I am a PhD candidate in plant biology interested in quantitative genetics and functional genomics in sorghum. I earned a bachelor’s degree in plant biology from UC Riverside in 2018. My current research includes identifying genes related to grain compositional traits in sorghum under well-watered and drought conditions. I am also working to improve the regeneration efficiency of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in sorghum via the use of morphogenic regulators.
