Rebecca Dumanski

I completed my PhD in Plant Biology with interests in quantitative genetics and functional genomics in sorghum. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology from UC Riverside in 2018. My PhD research included identifying genes related to grain compositional traits in sorghum under well-watered and drought conditions. I also worked to improve the regeneration efficiency of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in sorghum via the use of morphogenic regulators.
