Mary-Francis LaPorte

I am a PhD alumna in Plant Biology, interested in crop improvement, plant breeding, and computational genetics. I worked on projects that integrate crop growth modeling and genomics-enabled breeding methodologies in globally important crops. Before attending UC Davis, I completed a BS in Plant Biology: Biotechnology at the University of Oklahoma. There, I studied cell wall biosynthesis for applications related to biofuel production.
