I am the project and communications manager for the GEMINI project co-led by Christine Diepenbrock, Brian Bailey, and Mason Earles. I earned a B.S. in Genetics and an M.A. in Education from UC Davis and am thrilled to return as a member of its staff. Previously, I was a high school science teacher in Fairfield, CA, where I taught physics and biotechnology. I also worked for the California Department of Education as a Specialized Secondary Programs mentor and as an educational consultant for Meta/Oculus Education as part of Ignited, a nonprofit focused on STEM education. I am excited to be back close to the science as a part of a lab dedicated to improving crop nutritional quality and ensuring climate resiliency.
