Astrid Lao

I am an undergraduate alum who majored in plant biotechnology and worked as a student assistant for GEMINI. My work mostly involved sorting and grinding common bean, sorghum, and common bean samples and subsequently scanning them to assess their nutritional qualities. I also conducted field work that consisted of field marking, stand count, and scoring flowering time, all of which contributed to the assessment of yield and quality among various crops in this project.
