I am a recent graduate from UC Davis with a B.S. in Plant Biotechnology. I assisted with the GEMINI Project as an undergraduate student assistant, specifically in data collection of plant phenotypes of the common bean and cowpea populations in the field, along with processing of samples for downstream lab analyses. Currently, I have taken on a Junior Specialist position for the Pre-breeding and Genomics component of the GEMINI Project and will continue to aid in coordinating field research trials and carry out lab-based analyses, primarily for collection of nutritional and compositional traits of grain legumes as well as sorghum.
